Young adulthood is increasingly marked by the early onset of chronic conditions, such as systemic inflammation, compared with previous generations. A primary contributor to this trend is engagement in harmful cardiometabolic health behaviors (CHB), including physical inactivity, dysregulated sleep, smoking, and alcohol use.
