Quantum entanglement with ultrashort charge wavepackets
A significant challenge in quantum nanoelectronics is accessing the internal characteristic timescales, typically a few picoseconds, that dictate the quantum dynamics of nanoelectronic quantum devices. These timescales are currently beyond our reach. If achieved, this will open new path for studying the dynamic aspects of quantum mechanics. ULTRAWAVE will overcome this challenge by leveraging advances in THz photon production and utilizing innovative photon-to-electron conversion devices to engineer THz electronic charge pulses for use in quantum nanoelectronics.
