Casimir Self-Assembly out of Equilibrium

Self-assembly is an important area of research that has numerous practical applications, including in the fields of materials science, nanotechnology, and biotechnology. Despite its widespread use, conventional self-assembly is limited, especially in terms of complexity, scalability, and dynamical control. In this context, a promising solution to these challenges is the use of Casimir self-assembly, which leverages the fundamental physics of the Casimir effect.
